The Faith Players,
an exciting and new theater group emerged last summer out of First United
Methodist Church of Scotch Plains. Under
the Direction of Tori Clemens 2 performances of Godspell took place much to the
delight of all in attendance. It was
such a success they’re back! This
summer, Tori Clemens, a member of FUMC, will direct and choreograph a
production of “Bed Bugs” by, Leah Genuario Anyone
age 7 through adult are invited to audition as there are roles for all
ages.
Description: Marie is just a little girl who likes to jump on her bed. But to the bedbugs being squished underfoot, she is the wicked witch who causes earthquakes. The microscopic citizens of Marie’s bed are up in arms (and legs!) over her mother’s bedtime rhyme: “Good night, sleep tight. Don’t let the bedbugs bite.” Can Marie and the bedbugs get past their misunderstanding? Find out in this fun-filled show that’s crawling with laughs.
Bed Bugs will be open to all children and young adults who are involved in our church family. If you are interested please see Tori. There are roles for many children as well as adults!

Setting the Stage
Auditions: May 19 & 20,
7-9 p.m.
1)
Prepare 16 bars of a Broadway tune or children’s
song. Be prepared to sing acapella or
bring recorded accompaniment.
2)
Cold readings of the script will be presented. Sides will be provided.
Rehearsals:
Jun 3r, June 5th, June 10th, June 12th, July 22nd, July 24th, July 30th,
August 5th, August 7th, August 13th, August 14th
Performances: Friday, August 15 @ 7:30 pm
